About Wild Thang: UPDATE: Just SOLD after one day on LamaMarket!! Thanks and congratulations to Chester & Isabelle Barnes of Temple Ridge Llamas in Waynesburg Pennsylvania. We received a call from Chester on Friday and they drove down to Tennessee on Saturday purchasing Wild Thang and one more female, Phoenix. LAMA MARKET WORKS!!
This is a difficult one to put on the sales list but since we are keeping so many of the 2009 female crias, we committed to putting some of our best females on the list. Wild Thang's name is very deceiving as she is one of the gentlest llamas on the farm. This tall and extremely stretchy half Bolivian girl is a real eye-catcher. On the outside are brown overtones, but underneath is pure silver! Wild Thang has a wonderful, silky, single coat fleece. She is a very large girl with an excellent topline and stretch, and awesome show ring presence. She hails from the Six Pack Ranch in British Columbia, Canada. Her dam, Cry Me a River, is a White Heat daughter and has already produced a Celebrity World Futurity Champion, Racing River, owned by Linda Berry Walker. Her sire, HCLA Bolivian Illimani, was part of the 1999 Bolivian Import, and brings outcross genetics to your breeding program. Wild Thang has produced some of the most exotic colored llamas that we have had at Walnut Ridge. She has produced 2 females and 2 males with three of four being various shades of silver. She is confirmed bred to a BAL Epic son, Lieutenant Dan, for a Spring 2010 cria. It should be a knockout!!
